This</em><br /><em>political context makes Diamela Eltit create strategies</em><br /><em>for not saying straightforwardly what she means. The</em><br /><em>novel shows strict care in the use of language, where the</em><br /><em>body of protagonist, L. the Illuminated, is locus of writing</em><br /><em>that exposes oppression.
